The No.484 Vaquero Vest is our latest American Western inspired vest introduced in the Spring of 2026. The design is a Coronado Leather exclusive with a combination of vintage and original design details that make the Vaquero a truly unique style.
The front western curved yokes are double-stitched with a combination of contrast and tonal threads and trimmed with contrasting leather piping. The upper chest pockets are curved and double-welted with leather piping. The hand and watch pockets are trimmed with contrasting leather for a total of five front pockets. The vest is secured with custom designed southwestern inspired snaps in an antique brass finish.
The No.484 Vaquero is a traditional cut western vest with an exceptional fit. The armholes are higher and the shoulders are slightly narrower to provide a more tailored fit but not undersized. There is a slight taper and our general sizing scale will still apply. Designed with less interior leather trim to provide a lightweight and comfortable feel at less than 2lbs in a standard size 42.
PREMIUM GARMENT GRADE NUBUCK STEERHIDE & 100% Cotton Ripstop Liner
This version is made a supple & drapey 3-3.5oz. buffed steerhide (NUBUCK) in a Charcoal colored, garment grade tannage. The leather is sanded and buffed to give the surface a suede-like appearance in a more durable top-grain steerhide. Tanned in a matte, Coyote Tan color and trimmed with a smooth black steerhide (piping and pockets). Finished with a durable, lightweight and breathable 100% cotton ripstop lining (6oz) in a dark khaki color.
